His real name is John. He goes by Jack. Some people call him John Jack. On applications, he writes John (Jack) in the first name field.
With a little help from his friends, he creates western americana indie folk music. You will often hear Kyle Nelson Cameron on drums among other guest musicians who help John Jack make noise.
John Jack has been writing songs since his dad bought him a guitar when he was 15 years old (he’s 31 right now). He has been in several bands over the years. Most notably, he formed a band called Moral Support in 2005 with his buddy Kyle Norman Slattery while attending Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. Jack and Kyle still make music together.
In early 2017, John Jack was laid off from his job. Just 3 months after bringing his daughter into the world. He wasn’t sure what to do. But with this came new inspiration and motivation. John Jack decided it was time to focus on two things he knows best…music and marketing. He began working for himself as a freelance digital marketer and began recording his music regularly while fully enjoying stay-at-home dad status. And finally…pulled the trigger on releasing music.
John Jack’s first song release called “Fire in the Mountain” can be heard on Spotify, Soundcloud, YouTube, iTunes, or pretty much anywhere else your ears scarf on music. He recently spent a weekend with his friends filming a music video at Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse. Watch it HERE!
John Jack will be releasing individual songs on a regular basis. If you dig, join the Fan Club and he will let you know when new songs are released, videos to watch, and dancing to be done. He also does merch and other random giveaways. Oh the perks of being in the Fan Club!
The John Jack Team…it’s actually just me speaking in the 3rd person.
P.S. I would be ever so grateful if you followed me on Spotify!
